🇬🇷 Greece recipe

Stifado

Stifado is a magnificent Greek braised beef stew with roots in Venetian-influenced Corfu. Large chunks of beef are slowly braised with a generous quantity of whole baby onions in a rich sauce of red wine, tomatoes, vinegar, and warm spices including cinnamon, cloves, and allspice. The long, slow cooking transforms everything into melting tenderness.
