Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the OriginEats mobile application (the “app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use OriginEats for your own personal, non-commercial cooking purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Subscriptions

  • OriginEats offers an optional Premium subscription. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; we are unable to process refunds directly.

3. Recipe content and dietary disclaimer

Important: Recipes, ingredient lists, and nutritional or dietary information in OriginEats are provided for general informational purposes only. Always verify ingredients for allergens and check that a dish is safe and appropriate for your dietary needs before cooking or eating. OriginEats is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

You are responsible for safe food handling, preparation, and cooking practices. We do not warrant that any recipe is free of allergens or suitable for any particular health condition or diet.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit recipe content from the app without permission;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or its servers;
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content are owned by OriginEats or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OriginEats and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Changes to the app and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
