OriginEats is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect.

In short: OriginEats does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not sell your data. Your data stays on your device or in your own private iCloud account.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not require an account or your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
We do not use third-party advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

2. Data stored on your device

Your saved recipes, collections, cooking history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, this data syncs through your own private Apple iCloud account using CloudKit. We do not have access to the contents of your iCloud data; it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us only with anonymized transaction and subscription-status information needed to unlock Premium features.

4. Diagnostics and crash reporting

OriginEats does not include any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Diagnostic and crash information is processed only on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

5. Recipe images and content

Recipe images and content are delivered from our content servers. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) may be processed transiently for security and delivery purposes; we do not use these logs to build user profiles.

6. Children's privacy

OriginEats is a general-audience cooking app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your choices

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings.
You can delete locally stored app data by removing the app.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
