🇭🇺 Hungary recipe
Somlói Galuska
Somlói Galuska is Hungary's most famous dessert, a decadent trifle-style creation that won a gold medal at the 1958 Brussels World Fair. Torn pieces of three different sponge cakes, vanilla, chocolate, and walnut, are layered with a boozy rum syrup, rich chocolate sauce, walnut pieces, and finished with billowing whipped cream. Every spoonful is a glorious mess of textures and flavors.
