🇷🇺 Russia recipe
Shchi
Shchi is the ancient soul of Russian cooking, a cabbage soup that has sustained the Russian people through countless harsh winters for over a thousand years. The proverb says 'shchi da kasha, pishcha nasha' meaning cabbage soup and porridge are our food. This version uses fresh cabbage with beef, root vegetables, and a bouquet of dill, simmered slowly until every spoonful is rich and comforting.
