🇩🇴 Dominican Republic recipe
Sancocho Dominicano
Sancocho is the undisputed king of Dominican soups and the dish that graces every major celebration, from Christmas to family reunions. This magnificent stew features up to seven different meats simmered for hours with an array of tropical root vegetables, corn, and plantains in a deeply flavored broth. Making sancocho is a communal act — families gather around the enormous pot, each person contributing and stirring, creating memories as rich as the stew itself.
