🇧🇪 Belgium recipe
Dame Blanche
Dame blanche is Belgium's answer to a hot fudge sundae, but with a distinctly Belgian sophistication. Scoops of rich vanilla ice cream are generously drowned in a warm sauce of melted Belgian dark chocolate and crowned with a cloud of freshly whipped cream. The contrast between the cold ice cream and the warm, bittersweet chocolate sauce is pure decadence. Found on the dessert menu of virtually every Belgian brasserie and restaurant.
