🇵🇹 Portugal recipe
Arroz de Pato
One of Portugal's most celebrated rice dishes, arroz de pato begins with slowly braising a whole duck until fall-apart tender, then using the richly flavoured braising liquid to cook the rice. The shredded duck is layered with the rice and sliced chouriço, then baked in the oven until a golden, crispy crust forms on top. It is a dish of extraordinary depth and comfort.
