🇸🇪 Sweden recipe
Toast Skagen
Created by the legendary Swedish restaurateur Tore Wretman in the 1950s and named after a fishing town in Denmark, Toast Skagen is Sweden's most beloved appetizer. Crisp, butter-fried bread is piled high with a luscious mixture of sweet hand-peeled prawns bound in mayonnaise and crème fraîche, finished with a crown of whitefish roe and a sprig of dill. It is summer on a plate.
