🇷🇴 Romania recipe
Bulz
Bulz is a traditional Romanian shepherd's dish from the Carpathian mountains, born of the simple, resourceful cooking of pastoral life. Balls of firm mamaliga are hollowed out and stuffed with a generous amount of melting cheese and butter, then baked or grilled until the outside forms a golden crust and the center becomes a pocket of warm, oozing cheese. It is mountain comfort food at its most elemental and satisfying.
