🇹🇷 Turkey recipe
Kuzu Tandır
Kuzu Tandir is a magnificent slow-roasted lamb dish from Central Anatolia where an entire lamb leg is sealed in a clay oven (tandir) and cooked for many hours until the meat falls effortlessly off the bone. The long, gentle cooking renders the fat and bastes the meat in its own juices, resulting in impossibly tender, succulent lamb with a deep, concentrated flavor. It is traditionally served with buttery rice pilaf.
