🇳🇵 Nepal recipe
Sukuti
Sukuti is Nepal's traditional dried meat, most commonly made from buffalo, that is a beloved snack and appetizer across the country. Strips of meat are marinated in spices and sun-dried for several days until completely dehydrated, then later grilled or fried and tossed with onions, tomatoes, chilies, and a pungent dressing. The drying process concentrates the meaty flavor into chewy, intensely savory morsels. Sukuti is the perfect accompaniment to a cold beer or a plate of chiura.
